A. EMPOWER YOUR CHANGE® Ostomy Shower Guard will prevent 98% of the ostomy bag and the surrounding flange area from getting soaking wet, by encasing the ostomy bag and covering the middle abdominal to the pelvis region.

Q. HOW MUCH DOES EMPOWER YOUR CHANGE® OSTOMY SHOWER GUARD COST?

A. The Ostomy Shower Guard may range from $36 to $45 depending on your size.

Q. DOES THE EMPOWER YOUR CHANGE® SHOWER GUARD WORK?

A. Yes. Over a year of testing, the Ostomy Shower Guard has shown to prevent 98% of the ostomy bag and the surrounding flange area from getting soaking wet.

Q. There was a bit of moisture on the shower guard, but I suspect it's merely from the steam of the shower.

A. It's the same as condensation while taking a shower with plastic close to the body. The shower guard generates heat and creates moisture that will dry quickly, a bit of moisture might be at the corners of your flange, but that's fine.

Q. How do I use the shower Guard?

A. Take your ostomy belt, or any other appliances used to secure the ostomy bag, off. Place your ostomy bag into the shower guard through the opening in the middle. Fasten the straps around the middle abdominal, secure both ends with the velcro. Take your shower for as long as you needed. Enjoy it. To clean your Shower Guard, wipe the guard off with rubbing alcohol, wash the straps with soap and water. ( Air-dry only)

It’s recommended to double strap around the abdominal.
